Nissan Europe October Sales

Nissan Europe reported total sales of 29,044 vehicles (i) in October 2005, a decrease of 34.4% over the same month last year.
In the ten month period from January to October 2005, Nissan Europe sold 474,103 units, 4% up from last year.
HIGHLIGHTS BY COUNTRY
- Nissan in France sold 2,821 units in October, registering a 34.9% decrease compared to last year. In the ten month period from January to October 2005, Nissan sold 41,942 units in France, up by 5.1% compared to last year.
- In Germany, Nissan sold 2,284 units in October, representing a decrease of 56.5% compared to last year. In the ten month period from January to October 2005, Nissan sold 46,412 units in Germany, 5.6% down from last year.
- In Italy, Nissan sold 2,396 units in October, down 51.4% against last year. In the ten month period from January to October 2005, Nissan sales in Italy fell to 48,500 units, down by 22.1% compared to last year.
- In Russia, Nissan sold 4,031 units in October, up 61.6% against last year. In the ten month period from January to October 2005, Nissan sales in Russia rose to 36,936 units, up by 72.2% compared to last year.
- Nissan in Spain sold 4,225 units in October, down 32.8% compared to last year. In the ten month period from January to October 2005, Nissan sales in Spain rose to 60,208 units up by 8.7% compared to last year.
- In the UK, Nissan sold 4,939 units a decrease of 45.6% compared to last year. In the ten month period from January to October 2005, Nissan's sales in the UK reached 92,966 units, up 3.6% compared to last year.
MODEL HIGHLIGHTS
- The Micra sold 6,533 units in October representing a decrease of 52.4% against the same month last year. In the ten month period from January to October 2005, total Micra sales reached 141,117 units, down 1.5% compared to last year.
- X-TRAIL sales decreased by 33.8% in October against the same month last year to 3,783 units. In the ten month period from January to October 2005, total X-TRAIL sales reached 54,815 units, up by 2.8% compared to last year.
- Murano sold 500 units in October. In the ten month period from January to October 2005, total Murano sales reached 7,645 units.
- Pathfinder sold 1,478 units in October. Since its launch in March, Pathfinder sales reached 16,535 units.
- Navara sold 2,290 units in October. Since its launch in July, total Navara sales reached 9,515 units.
