World-class fondue evening with Cuche, Svindal and Miller
Garmisch-Partenkirchen (ots)
On the occasion of the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the three skiing stars Didier Cuche (Switzerland), Aksel Lund Svindal (Norway) and Bode Miller (USA) met this evening over fondue at the Swiss Ski House. Didier Cuche took the opportunity to reveal his secret weapon for the upcoming Championship downhill event. He was supported by Swiss milk producer Emmi for the evening.
As Swiss star Didier Cuche was surveying the downhill course before skiing his way into an amazing second-place finish in mid-January, local slope workers invited him to enjoy a cheese fondue. It is surely no coincidence that everything seems to be going his way ever since, racking up one World Cup win after the next. In the interest of good sportsmanship, then, Didier Cuche revealed the secret behind his success this evening in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. At a fondue evening at the Swiss Ski House, he gave his competitors Aksel Lund Svindal and Bode Miller a chance to fortify themselves for the upcoming races with a fondue from Emmi, a sponsor of the FIS and the Swiss Ski House.
