Plaut Receives Major New Contracts - 2001 Reveneus On Plan

In contrast to the recent sharp decrease in its share price, Plaut sees no reason to change its budgeted revenue growth figures for 2001. The business remains strong, also in the United States, where the current order book gives confidence that the company will reach its revenue goals for the first six months. With a backlog across all countries of about five months, Plaut continues to believe that its revenue target for 2001 is reasonable.
In recent weeks Plaut has received various contracts worth over a thousand man-days each: two large outsourcing projects in Brazil (one of which from a world market leader in imaging), a very large SAP project for a world market leader in electronic components and innovative materials, an eBusiness and CRM project from a major utilities company as well as a strategy contract from a large airline, all three in EU countries. In Switzerland, Plaut won a major SAP project for a fine chemicals company, a mySAP.com eBusiness contract from one of the largest beverage manufacturers in the world, another mysap.com project for a major laboratory system supplier as well as an eBusiness contract from concept to implementation from a leading aluminum and packaging company. In the US, Plaut has successfully bid for a very valuable contract as an SAP implementor for one of the world's largest wine and spirits manufacturers, a project covering the UK and other parts of the world in addition to the United States. Also in the US, a multinational plastics manufacturer has given Plaut the mandate for another conceptual design of SAP R/3 and its implementation.
