Successful start of exhibition in Gulf

Rösch AG meets Dubai Health Ministry
Rösch AG Medizintechnik (WKN 529140), Berlin, has enjoyed a successful start to its first ever appearance at the Arab Dental Exhibition 2001 in Dubai. On the very first day, future-oriented talks were held with partners from the Gulf region and Pakistan and the first contracts for supplying Dental High-Tech were signed. At the stand of the Berlin company, Sheikh Al Seed, Director of the Dubai Health Service emphasised the following in discussions with Dr Stephan Gruner, Global Marketing Director of Rösch AG: "Partnerships with innovative companies from the medical sector are a milestone for our company in maintaining our position as the best health service in the Middle East in the future."
Over 60 companies from all over the world take part in the 10th dental exhibition in Dubai. Local dental specialists from all the Gulf States were joined by companies from the USA, Canada, Italy and Germany. Prince Hamdan Maktoum, Dubai's Health Minister, stated at the opening of the exhibition: "Health is the key to progress. The United Arab Emirates have achieved a leading position in the Middle East over the last five years. We invite companies, particularly from Germany, to collaborate with us as partners for the future." At the stand, Dr Stephan Gruner and Sheikh Al Assed of Dubai's Ministry of Health talked in detail about opportunities for collaboration between the medical technology specialists and the official authorities of the Emirate. Dr Gruner said he was extremely pleased with the way the exhibition had progressed: "We have had many discussions with the major wholesalers from all the Gulf States and already concluded several transactions on the first day." Rösch AG intends to maintain long-term activity in this future market.
Beginning on April 28, 2001, the company will hold a presentation together with five other Neuer Markt listed companies at a five-day roadshow, initiated by the Essen-based consultancy firm ConPAIR AG. The above mentioned exhibition appearance and the distribution contract for the company's needle-free injection system INJEXT( signed with Burjuman Pharmaceutical Consultants (BPC), Dubai, UAE in January 2001 constitute an excellent basis for ongoing discussions with investors from the Arab region.
