BKW Board of Directors
E.ON representative Dirk Steinheider stands down

Bern (ots)

Dirk Steinheider, one of the two representatives of
E.ON Energie AG on the Board of Directors of BKW FMB Energy Ltd 
(BKW), is standing down from the BKW Board with immediate effect. The
move is related to the repurchase by BKW of E.ON's stake in BKW. 
Steinheider was elected to the BKW Board of Directors at the General 
Meeting of Shareholders held on 9 May 2008. Hartmut Geldmacher, the 
second E.ON representative, will remain a member of the BKW Board. 
BKW would like to thank Dirk Steinheider for his contributions and 
commitment to the BKW Board of Directors.
