BKW FMB Energy Ltd in negotiations to acquire a hydroelectric power plant group in France

BKW FMB Energy Ltd (BKW) is negotiating with Ascométal with a view to acquiring the Allevard hydroelectric power plant group in the French Alps near Chambéry.
The acquisition project is being pursued as part of BKW's foreign growth strategy. The Allevard power plant group comprises four hydroelectric power plants with a collective capacity of 30 Megawatts and an annual production volume of 140 Gigawatt hours.
