At the forthcoming Annual General Meeting on 17 May 2013, BKW Inc. will propose the experienced financial expert Roger Baillod for election to the Board of Directors. With his 17 years of experience as CFO of the international Bucher Industries group, Roger Baillod will perform an important financial oversight function on the Board of Directors.
Roger Baillod is CFO and member of the Executive Board of Bucher Industries AG of Niederweningen/canton Zurich, a listed technology group active in the machinery and vehicle construction industry. With a workforce of around 10,000, the company generates revenues of CHF 2.6 billion. Roger Baillod has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the Migros-Genossenschaftsbund since 2008.
Originally from the canton of Neuchatel, business economist and certified public accountant Roger Baillod grew up in Aargau and lives in Wil, canton St. Gallen. He is 54 years old, married and has two grown-up children.
