BKW to sell part of its shareholding in Swissgrid

In its meeting of 15 December 2014, the Board of Directors of Swissgrid AG approved the entry of BKW Netzbeteiligung AG as a new shareholder in the share register of Swissgrid AG. The deal can therefore be closed.
BKW welcomes the decision of the Swissgrid Board of Directors to enter its subsidiary BKW Netzbeteiligung AG in the share register of Swissgrid AG. This means the deal that was announced on 25 September 2014 can now be closed. BKW will remain a shareholder in Swissgrid AG following the transfer of its shareholding. BKW holds a 50.1 per cent stake in BKW Netzbeteiligung AG, and CSA Energie Infrastruktur Schweiz holds a 49.9 per cent stake.
