Locarno celebrates film, from today until and including August 12, 2023. The Locarno Film Festival has a firm place in the national and international cultural calendar. This is also the case at Manor, with the Manor department store in the heart of the festival on the Piazza Grande, the awarding of the Pardo d'onore Manor to outstanding personalities of cinema or the Locarno Boutique by Manor. We wish all film enthusiasts a lot of fun!
With its programme for the general public and for cineastes, and with venues such as the unique Piazza Grande, the Locarno Film Festival offers a unique place to discover the best of national and international film production. Manor is proud to present again this year the honorary leopard Pardo d'onore Manor. This year the prize goes to the American filmmaker and artist Harmony Korine, who will receive the award on Friday, August 11 in the Piazza Grande. During Locarno76, his two films Gummo (1997) and Spring Breakers (2012) will also be screened.
At the Locarno Boutique by Manor, festival lovers will find everything their hearts desire, with from exclusive merchandising items.
