PIRONET NDH gains SPD as new client

The SPD is redesigning its intranet. The dynamic Content Management software, pirobase(r), will form the technical core of SPD Online. The database-based system by the software company, PIRONET NDH, makes it possible for all organizational units to consistently divide and allocate work and ensures the highest level of context relevance and topicality for all content provided. The target group for the new design includes honorary party officials and 700,000 party members, along with full-time SPD employees.
The new intranet connects the SPD party executives in Willy-Brandt-Haus with the regional associations and district offices as well as the subdistrict offices - consisting of 352 offices with approximately 1,000 employees. During the first project phase, the full-time employee network will be redesigned in order to optimize the inner-party workflow to fulfill modern management demands. Internal communication will be professionalized and made campaign-efficient. Communication and information will be enabled to flow vertically and horizontally in the future.
In a second phase, another secured information area will be created for the approx. 50,000 SPD honorary officials along with a member network based on its structure. In addition to the provision of current information and the opportunities presented by the exchange of internal information, SPD Online also seeks to enable the procurement of work materials online. With the integration of a shop system in the Content Management system, the workflow will be reorganized - from the placement of an order to the shipment of materials - saving time and reducing expenses in this area.
DeTeLine, a company with over 1250 employees in 16 locations, offers mainly services for the planning and implementation of local area networks, as well as their maintenance and operation. The partnership enables DeTeLine to extend their service portfolio and allows for improved market access for PIRONET NDH. Through the targeted creation and extension of its indirect distribution channel, PIRONET NDH is accelerating widespread market penetration with pirobase(r).
