Selecta and FrieslandCampina Announce
Strategic Partnership,
Elevating Quality and Sustainability Standards
Cham, 30. January 2024 – Selecta, Europe’s leading route-based, self-service FoodTech provider, proudly announces a strategic partnership with FrieslandCampina, a global dairy company. This collaboration, spanning all 16 markets where Selecta operates, marks a significant step forward in their joint mission to provide exceptional coffee experiences while upholding the highest quality standards.
Under a comprehensive agreement, FrieslandCampina will supply Selecta with three essential product categories: liquid milk, creamers, and the innovative LattizⓇ system. The LattizⓇ system, a creation by FrieslandCampina Professional, allows Selecta to deliver barista-quality milk foam at the touch of a button, ensuring consistent performance and perfect hygiene in every cup.
Beyond immediate business goals, the collaboration aligns with a broader mission. Both Selecta and FrieslandCampina recognise the importance of environmentally responsible business practices. FrieslandCampina invests in programs, supports farmers and unlocks innovations to continuously improve the sustainability of dairy production. The LattizⓇ brand, for example, is committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2027. By partnering with customers like Selecta, FrieslandCampina can further invest and reward the member farmers in driving down emissions.
Expressing gratitude for the collaboration, Sjoerd Homminga, Selecta’s Group Head of Hot drinks, stated, "We are thrilled to join forces with FrieslandCampina, a recognized leader in the dairy industry, known not only for excellence but also for their commitment to sustainability. This partnership makes both companies stronger in realizing their commitment to excellence, innovation, and environmental stewardship.”
One of the key advantages of this partnership is the ability to offer uniform, premium-quality dairy products in all markets, aligning with Selecta’s commitment to ensuring consumer satisfaction and joy. In addition to focusing on product excellence, and enhancing the out-of-home coffee experience, the collaboration places a strong emphasis on sustainability. To truly make a positive impact, we need to work together.
