Biomit Inc. Continues Expansion in Europe Affiliate office opened in Germany; representation in Benelux and Great Britain

Biomit Inc., a strategic e-clinical research partner for the biopharmaceutical industry, continues to establish offices throughout Europe as it expands its integrated worldwide representation. Today marks the official opening of its office in Heidelberg, which will coordinate on-line, electronic clinical research trials in Germany. As well, Biomit is now represented in Benelux and Great Britain to expand its reach in providing innovative, internet-based clinical research trial management.
Heading the Heidelberg office is Peter X. Kunz, PhD, who brings to Biomit extensive experience in clinical research, including eleven years as Clinical Research Scientist managing product development and international clinical trials. His fields of expertise include medical imaging in radiology, cardiology and urology, as well as ultrasound contrast media. Strategically located within the Heidelberg Technologypark with more than 30 biotech and pharma companies nearby, this affiliate office will coordinate marketing activities and clinical trials in Germany.
In addition, Dieter Wetzel, MD PhD, will represent Biomit in Benelux and Great Britain, assuming responsibilities for business development and clinical trial coordination there. With long-term experience in scientific information and drug development - including scientific drug information for and communication with health care professionals and patients, drug in- and out-licensing, analysis of drug markets and competitors, as well as marketing strategies and communication concepts - Dr. Wetzel is expert in the management of clinical trials and drug registration. Focus therapeutic areas include neurology and oncology.
