Bad Soden, May 29, 2008 - TRIPLAN AG (ISIN: DE 0007499303) takes over the engineering company "Planungsbüro Burkart AG", headquartered in Switzerland and "Planungsbüro Burkart GmbH" with two locations in Germany to May 29, 2008. With this acquisition, TRIPLAN AG broadens its capacities in the conventional plant engineering in the successfully taken areas chemical, biotechnology and life science and completes the existing service offering by the area energy- and powerplant. The development enables TRIPLAN to plan production sites including the site-related power supply. Moreover, TRIPLAN improves its market position and gets by the appearance as an integrated engineering service provider significant competitive edge.
The overtaken "Planungsbüro Burkart AG" exists over 30 years and employs approximately 50 employees at the locations Schindellegi, Switzerland, Lörrach and Burgkirchen, Germany. "Planungsbüro Burkart-Gruppe" generates revenues of approximately four million euro and is profitabel. The fix part of the purchase price is around one million euro. Additionally, there is a result-dependent constituent over a period of three years.
