Bad Soden, August 21, 2008 - TRIPLAN AG (ISIN: DE 0007499303) closed the first six month of the business year 2008 with group sales of 22,782 TEUR (previous year: 24,073 TEUR). The decline in sales, that was partial compensated by the dynamic growing engineering segment, can be traced back to the spin-off of a bigger part of the IT-segment within the joint venture with Neilsoft Ltd. TRIPLAN improved its EBIT from 1,197 TEUR by approximately 54 percent up to 1,839 TEUR and generated an EBIT-margin of 8.1 percent in the first six months 2008. The net profit after minority interests rose by approximately 52 percent from 932 TEUR up to 1,416 TEUR (EpS diluted/undiluted: 0.15 EUR after 0.10 EUR as at June 30, 2007). Despite of an acquisition, TRIPLAN improved the cash account by 13.3 percent up to 6,301 TEUR. The equity ratio is in the amount of 56.3 percent after 52.6 percent in comparison to the period of the previous year.
Due to the high operating grade of the employees, that is widely ensured until the end of 2009, as well as the broader setup of the group by an acquisition in the second quarter, the management board expects for business year 2008 revenues in the amount of 44.5 million euro and an EBIT of 2.9 million euro.
