Cologne, December 30th 2009. Vivacon AG (ISIN 000604 8911) has sold the Salamander area in Kornwestheim to IMMOVATION Immobilien Handels AG, Kassel. The listed total area covers a gross floor area of approximately 90,000 sqm, which is currently used commercially, and roughly half of the remaining part of the reconstruction is planned for residential purposes. The parties have agreed to be silent about transaction volume. The transaction is an important part in the context of the ongoing restructuring of the Vivacon AG group. The disposal leads not only to a further reduction of bank liabilities but the common drain on liquidity and resources during the construction phase will be also omitted. As part of the restructuring, the company will focus on asset management and the sale of real estate particularly under leasehold conditions.
