annual report
17.06.2010
Ludwigsburg, 17 June 2010. On 24 June, Jetter AG (ISIN: DE0006264005) will publish the business report for the year ended 31 March 2010. The economic crisis has marked the events at Jetter throughout the year. The German machinery industry suffered the biggest order loss in recent history. Jetter, a supplier to that industry, could not evade this development.
In the fiscal year 2009/10 (31 March) the Jetter group with a turnover of 28.6 Mio. Euro missed the mark, by a wide margin, of both the previous year´s 40.2 Mio. Euro and the budget. The earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) amounted to -1.9 Mio. Euro, after +1.1 Mio. Euro in the previous year. The net result was -1.3 Mio. Euro (previous year: +1.2 Mio. Euro).
Management supposes that the group has already passed the low point of economic development. A sensible improvement and the return to profits is expected for the second half of 2010. For the fiscal years until 2011/12, management expects a yearly sales growth well in the double-digit range and corresponding results, driven by the area of mobile automation as well as by the recovery of the industrial automation sector.
The complete business report will be published on 24 June 2010 at a press conference in Frankfurt am Main and will be available at the websites of Jetter (http://www.jetter.de) and Deutsche Börse (http://deutsche-boerse.com).
