The COMPUTERLINKS Group effected a seamless transition from the successful year 2006 to the first quarter of 2007. Turnover increased in the 1st quarter of 2007 by 13.3% to 102.0 million Euro (1st quarter of 2006: 90.0 million Euro). EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) rose to 3.5 million Euro in the 1st quarter of 2007 compared to 3.1 million Euro in the 1st quarter of 2006 (+ 13.7%). Net income for the period increased in the 1st quarter of 2007 by 5.4% to 2.0 million Euro. Earnings per share in the 1st quarter of 2007 therefore stood at 0.30 Euro (1st quarter of 2006: 0.28 Euro).
Gross profit was 14.2 million Euro in the 1st quarter of 2007 compared to 12.6 million Euro in the same period last year (+ 13.3%). Gross margins at 14.0% after 3 months in 2007 were at exactly the same level as in the 1st quarter of 2006 (14.0%).
