Revenue and gross profit have risen -- Good third quarter -- Signs of a growth trend
After nine months of the financial year 2007, IVU Traffic Technologies AG has once again presented a good result. All parameters have positive values and have risen in comparison with the same period in the previous year. These are first indications of a growth trend.
The earnings for the first nine months of the financial year 2007 were EURO 20.1 million (compared with EURO 18.7 million in the same period last year), the gross profit EURO 17.5 million (compared with EURO 15.9 million), EBIT EURO 1.1 million (EURO -0.9 million), and the consolidated profit was EURO 0.9 million (EURO -1.1 million). This means that the earnings have increased by 7 % and the gross profit by 10%, which is particularly important. As in the first half-year, EBIT is positive and a consolidated profit is reported, with both figures EURO 2 million above those for the first nine months of 2006.
This means that IVU Traffic Technologies AG has further continued the positive trend that was already visible in the first and second quarters - an indicator for profitable growth. The order book situation continues to be good.
The goals of IVU for 2007 are earnings of something above EURO 30 million, a gross profit of EURO 25 million and in association with this a further improved EBIT. These targets can be exceeded if the final quarter of the current financial year also runs well.
