Management and Advisory Board of LINTEC Information Technologies AG
have agreed the sale of LINTEC's entire 51 % stake in Intenso GmbH,
Vechta, with immediate effect. The Buyer is a German investment
group. Mr Jens Lübbe remains Managing Director and a main
shareholder. Both parties have agreed not to disclose the price of
the transaction.
This is the conclusion of a very successful engagement for LINTEC
over a three year period. This transaction reinforces the company's
policy of refocusing on its core business, which was approved at
LINTEC's AGM in May 2003. At the same time, it forms part of a
comprehensive debt reduction programme, which will support a dynamic
and profitable development of LINTEC's core business from 2004.
Intenso contributed a major proportion to LINTEC group sales,
consequently, the internal forecast for 2004 is now being
recalculated. LINTEC will publicise the new planning assumptions for
2004 at its analyst conference in mid December 2003. Sales and
profits are then being generated predominantly by LINTEC's core
business activities.
