Rockliffe Introduces MailSite LE Version - Microsoft Exchange Alternative Bundles Features Normally Found In Several Products
CAMPBELL, CA (ots)
Rockliffe, Inc., the developer of e-mail and messaging infrastructure software for service providers and corporations, announced today the immediate availability of MailSite LE (Large Enterprise), an affordable and easy-to-use alternative to Microsoft Exchange.
Rockliffe MailSite LE works seamlessly with Microsoft Outlook and provides large enterprises with every feature required to run an in-house e-mail service -- in one fully integrated solution. Doing the job of several products, MailSite LE comes bundled with a comprehensive standards-based e-mail server, built-in real-time virus scanning and high performance content filtering that can be used to block pornographic messages and spam. It also comes bundled with MailSite Express, a full-featured web mail client with personal calendaring and mailbox filters.
Virus Scanning - Rockliffe has tightly integrated the F-Secure real-time virus scanner into MailSite LE. This new scanner can automatically detect and block viruses in all incoming and outgoing messages. Furthermore, with the new anti-virus subscription service, MailSite LE automatically downloads updated virus definition files so new viruses are detected as soon as they appear without any intervention by the system administrator.
Personal Calendaring - MailSite LE comes bundled with MailSite Express, a full-featured web messaging e-mail client. Rockliffe has enhanced MailSite Express to include web-based Calendaring, Tasks, and Notes so users can manage their personal information in one place, and access it from anywhere on the Internet.
"Rockliffe MailSite LE provides large businesses with a lower initial license cost, easy administration using wizards, zero administration virus protection and anti-spam filtering," said John Davies, President and CEO of Rockliffe. "It is already being used by thousands of by organizations that wanted an easy to use, more affordable alternative to Microsoft Exchange".
