Eindhoven, October 5, 2004 - Catalis N.V. announces that after authorisation by the District Court in The Netherlands the spin off of Navigator Equity Solutions N.V. has been executed on October 5, 2004. The formal foundation of Navigator Equity Solutions N.V. will take place on October 6, 2004. The record day relevant for determining the number of shares to be spun-off will likely be Friday, October 15, 2004 with share-trading "Ex-Navigator" commencing on Monday, October 18, 2004. Like previously announced the spin off ratio will be 1:1. Shares in Navigator Equity Solutions N.V. will be booked into share accounts as soon as reasonably practicable. The management is confident that this transaction represents a milestone in generating value for Catalis N.V. shareholders.
