Eindhoven, November 03, 2005 - Catalis N.V. announces preliminary unaudited results for the first nine months of fiscal year 2005.
Catalis N.V. has increased its operating profit by 46% to euro 1.8 million from euro 1.2 million in the first 9 months last year. At the same time, sales increased by 47% from euro 3.9 million to euro 5.7 million.
The third quarter of fiscal year 2005 was characterised by significant growth in sales and attractive margins. Net profit in Q3 increased by 39% from euro 0.6 million to euro 0.8 million. Sales increased by 48% to euro 2.3 million from euro 1.6 million in Q3 last year. Operating cash flow developed positively as well and amounted to euro 530,000 in Q3 2005.
The euro 3.0 million convertible bond which was issued in order to finance future growth was placed successfully.
Management of Catalis increases its sales target for the full year 2005 to more than euro 7 million.
