Eindhoven, May 03, 2006 - Catalis N.V. has generated revenues of euro 2.2 million in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2006 (Q1 2005: euro 1.5 million). This represents an increase of 42% compared to last year. Operating profits increased by more than 53% to euro 552,000 (last year: euro 360,000).
Our US operations showed robust performance and contributed significantly to the growth of the group. However, also the European operations showed very positive developments. Particularly impressive was the area of e-Learning testing, where revenues almost doubled on an organic basis. At the same time our games testing operation managed to get continued business from several different clients throughout the entire quarter for the first time after its set up last year. We expect significant growth coming from that area in the future. Our home entertainment business continued to deliver outstanding performance on a high level.
