HTP High Tech Plastics AG announces share buy-back program (E)

HTP High Tech Plastics AG, Neudörfl (Austria), June 9, 2004.

HTP High Tech Plastics AG’s 6th Annual General Meeting on May 26,
2004 has taken the decision to authorise the Board to purchase own
shares up to 10% of the share capital for a period of 18 months
starting from the date of resolution.

Based on this authorisation, the Board has agreed upon a share
buy-back program.
It is intended to repurchase up to 200.000 bearer shares, which
corresponds to 3.6 % of the company’s stock capital. The defined
price range is from EUR 3.00 to EUR 8.00. The share buy-back program
starts on June 11, 2004 and is going on until December 15, 2004.

Primarily, repurchased shares shall be used for the execution of the
acquisition strategy as well as the coverage of existing and future
employee profit sharing and stock option programs.

The repurchase is concluded from time to time, at the company’s
discretion and without regard to the actual market situation. It may
be stopped definitely or temporarily without notification.

Before starting the mentioned share buy-back program, the company has
272.946 own shares at its disposal. This corresponds to about 5% of
the share capital.

The legally required disclosures in the context of the share buy-back
program are provided in the "Wiener Zeitung" and in the German
"Börsenzeitung".  Modifications of the share buy-back program as well
as the disclosure of executed transaction will be published on HTP
