Solar-Fabrik AG (ISIN: DE0006614712) will be presenting a completely new device concept at this year's Intersolar: "convert 6T", which will revolutionize the inverter market for small and midsized systems.
This new "convert 6T" was developed in collaboration with the German electronics supplier to the automotive industry KOSTAL. For the first time ever, this inverter allows for three-phase power to be fed to the grid in combination with a transformerless inverter topology. This new unit thus combines the advantages of large central inverters with the flexibility and great efficiency of string inverters without transformers.
"We are proud of this completely new product, which fits the image of Solar-Fabrik AG perfectly: utmost quality in combination with innovations that are without peer on the world market. Solar-Fabrik is convinced that the new "convert 6T" inverter will have a market share exceeding 10 percent for 5-30 kWp systems within three years," chief executive officer Georg Salvamoser explains.
The new "convert 6T" will be presented to the public at Intersolar 2005 (June 23-25) and will be made available starting in August of 2005.
