Freiburg (euro adhoc) - In the first three quarters 2012 Solar-Fabrik AG (ISIN:
DE0006614712) generated an EBIT of -1.0 million euros. (Q1-Q3 2011: 1.5 million
euros) from a gross margin of 15.4 %. This results in a net loss of -1.5 million
euros (Q1-Q3 2011: -2.9 million euros). The company generated nine months sales
of ca. 71.9 million euros (Q1-Q3 2011: 131.2 million euros), thereof ca. 9.0
million euros (Q1-Q3 2011: 0.9 million euros) resulting from the installation
business' sale of turn-key systems. The decrease in revenue is both due to
volume and price. The volume for the three quarters 2012 was ca. 75.0 MWp (Q1-Q3
2011: 88.4 MWp). The price erosion has reached more than 30 percent since the
beginning of the year, predominantly driven by the cuts of the feed-in-tariffs
in the key markets of Solar-Fabrik AG and the continuing global oversupply.
