Effective June 30 2003, Dr. Ralf Hermann will resign from his 
position as Chairman of the Executive Board of Vivascience AG, 
biotech suppliers and proteomics specialists.  Dr. Hermann will leave
the Executive Board of Vivascience as of 31 December 2003.  
Vivascience AG, headquartered in Hanover, Germany, is a wholly-
owned subsidiary of Sartorius AG.
