Heiler Software publishes second quarter figures for
2003/04 fiscal year (E)

Stuttgart, 12 May 2004 - Heiler Software AG, one of the leading suppliers of electronic product information solutions and catalogue management systems, today published its results for the second quarter ending 31 March 2004.
In the second quarter of the 2003/04 fiscal year, group sales were up Euro 0.5 million year-on-year to Euro 1.4 million (+57%). EBIT was Euro -0.9 million after Euro -1.0 million in the same period of the previous year. In Q2, EBIT was negatively impacted by non-recurring effects for commissioning the largest American procurement platform for car dealers, and for the Companys participation in CeBIT, for which there were charges of Euro 0.4 million, which is why the EBIT figure did not improve to the same extent.
As of 31 March 2004, the equity capital figure was Euro 22.1 million (93% of the balance sheet total) after Euro 22.7 million on December 31, 2003. In Q2 2003/04, cash in hand declined marginally to Euro 18.2 million (Euro -0.3 million). Heiler Software AG thus retains its very sound financial position.
For Q3 and Q4 for the current fiscal year, Heiler Software anticipates continuing sales growth of over 50% and a considerable improvement of results.
