publishes third quarter figures for 2003/04 fiscal year (E)

Stuttgart, 12 August 2004 - Heiler Software AG, one of the leading suppliers of electronic product information solutions and catalogue management systems, published today its results for the third quarter ending 30 June 2004. Group sales for the third quarter of fiscal 2003/04 increased by EUR 0.44 million to EUR 1.22 million when compared to the prior fiscal year. Earnings before interest and taxes ("EBIT") for the third quarter improved from EUR -0.94 million last fiscal year to EUR -0.53 million this fiscal year. Net income for the third quarter increased from EUR -0.57 million last fiscal year to EUR -0.34 million this fiscal year. As a result, earnings per share for the third quarter improved from EUR -0.05 last fiscal year to EUR -0.03 this fiscal year. At 30 June 2004, shareholders equity amounts to EUR 21.8 million (94% of balance sheet total) and cash and cash equivalents amount to EUR 17.5 million. This means that Heiler Software continues to retain a very solid financial position. For the last quarter of fiscal 2003/04, Heiler Software expects a continuous sales growth of more than 50% and a considerable im-provement of results when compared to last fiscal year.
