Stuttgart, May 11, 2005 - Heiler Software AG, one of the leading suppliers of electronic product information solutions and catalog management systems, publishes today its results for the second quarter ending March 31, 2005.
The improvement of results of the last quarters continued in the second quarter of fiscal 2004/05. Especially in the strong margin areas of licenses and Application Service Providing (ASP), high double-digit revenue growth rates could be achieved. Total revenues however, due to a temporary reduction of consulting revenues, remained at 1.32 million Euro for the second quarter slightly below the amount of the corresponding period of the prior year of 1.37 million Euro. The improved revenue structure in connection with a significant cost reduction led to an improvement of earnings before interest and taxes from -0.93 million Euro to -0.54 million Euro (+0.39 million Euro). Net loss improved from -0.67 million Euro to -0.43 million Euro. Accordingly, the loss per share decreased from -0.06 Euro to -0.04 Euro.
As at March 31, 2005, shareholders equity amounts to 17.8 million Euro (represents 92% of total assets) and cash and cash equivalents amount to 16.4 million Euro. Thus, Heiler Software continues to retain a very solid financial position.
Heiler Software expects for the third and fourth quarter of the current fiscal year a continuance of the positive trend of results and for the entire fiscal year 2004/05, with increasing revenues, a significant improvement of results when compared to fiscal year 2003/04.
