Disclosure announcement transmitted by euro adhoc. The issuer is responsible for the content of this announcement.
Caatoosee ag will retain its 51% shareholding in PT Sigma Cipta Caraka, located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The decision taken by the Management Boards and Supervisory Boards of both companies comes in response to the favourable development of the partnership between caatoosee and Sigma. Recently, the partnership has benefited from successful joint activities within the market-place as well as a close strategic and synergy-producing form of cooperation aimed at penetrating the Asian market. Caatoosee ag has identified particularly lucrative growth opportunities in South-East Asia and China, especially against the backdrop of the more stable economic climate, as seen at present. Operating via Sigma, which is already well established within the region, caatoosee ag will be able to gain a foothold in this market by offering its cutting-edge information logistics solutions. The close partnership of both companies is underlined by the fact that Prof. Dr. h.c. Lothar Späth, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of caatoosee ag, will be taking over as Chairman of the Supervisory Board at PT Sigma Cipta Caraka. Toto Sugiri, Marina Budimann and Djarot Subiantoro are responsible for managing the company's operating activities. Alongside caatoosee ag, the International Finance Corporation IFC, Washington, - a member of the World Bank Group and the largest multilateral source of loan and equity financing for private sector projects in the developing world - has a seven per cent stake in PT Sigma Cipta Caraka.
