The VS2000 creates live, stunningly lifelike virtual 3D sets in real-time using live actors and multiple video feeds. The VS2000 will be demonstrated at Darim's booth #1.433 in the Korean Pavilion in Hall 1 at the IBC show.
The VS2000 is the first affordable real-time true 3D virtual studio system that generates vivid fully functional virtual studio environments without the need for expensive cameras and camera systems. Consisting of three main components, the VS2000 utilizes a real-time 3D graphics generator, chromakey compositor, and video mixer to mix the live action video with a rendered 3-dimensional virtual set eliminating wasted backdrops and costs associated with building "hard sets." Set elements including textures and backgrounds as well as user interfaces which can be readily altered through the VS2000 or via 3D Studio MAX. VS2000 requires only one operator thus keeping costs to a minimum. The ability to use non-professional video equipment such as consumer DV equipment connected through S-Video even further reduces operational costs.
