Bruck an der Mur, 20 July 2004. The board of Pankl Racing Systems AG has decided to make use of the authorisation by the 6th General Meeting of the company of 26.3.2004, i.e. the repurchase of shares to the extent of a maximum of 388.800 company shares in the name of the holder (up to 10 percent of the original capital). The nominal value for the purchase of these shares must not exceed or fall below the stock exchange price by more than 20 percent. The applicable stock exchange price is the closing price for the share of the respective securities exchange within the last 5 trading days before the acquisition of the shares. The redemption programme starts on 21 July 2004 and runs presumably until 21 January 2005. The present publication is no offer to purchase shares of Pankl Racing Systems AG and does not constitute an obligation for the company to accept offers of redemption of shares of Pankl Racing Systems AG.
The repurchase will be carried out from time to time at the discretion of the company and dependent on the current market situation. It can be conclusively or momentarily stopped without announcement. The repurchase of shares on the basis of this repurchase programme takes place via the German Stock Exchange/Prime Standard. Before the realisation of the present repurchase programme the company holds 26.880 own shares, i.e. about 1 percent of the nominal capital.
Changes of the redemption programme as well as the publication of the transactions carried out in the framework of the redemption programme will be published on the website of Pankl Racing Systems AG under www.pankl.com under "IR/Stocks" and under www.pankl-ir.com under "Share".
