Lender clears path for reorientation of Advanced Medien AG
Munich, March 24, 2004 - Advanced Medien AG (ISIN DE-0001262186, WKN 126218) today announced that its lending bank has issued a letter of subordination on March 24, 2004 for EUR 4.5 million of its total loan amount of EUR 8.5 million in order to prevent the over indebtedness of Advanced Medien AG in its balance sheet as of December 31, 2003. The bank also confirmed its willingness to relieve Advanced Medien AG of its debt in the course of renegotiating the loan agreement by transfering the film licensing business to its subsidiary Advanced Produktions GmbH.
In addition to issuing the letter of subordination, the lending bank also declared that it does not require Advanced Medien AG to repay its loan in connection with the capital measures necessary for the pending acquisition of a company. This fulfills another important prerequisite for the new orientation of Advanced Medien AG. Negotiations with the seller are in the final stages. The capital measures necessary to finance the purchasing price are being prepared.
