The SoftM Software und Beratung AG (ISIN: DE0007249104) Munich together with Bison Schweiz AG, Sursee, will introduce a new ERP Software. The new software called Greenax, completely written in the programming language Java corresponding to the J2EE standard, will make its public debut in March at CeBIT 2006. This software will initially target the commerce industry, especially the wholesale, In 2007 a software for financials will follow.
Both manufacturers of ERP software, who are in their respective core markets of Germany and Switzerland leading providers of ERP software for small and medium-sized industries, entered into a sales partnership in November of 2004 which included the intention of providing synergies in the further development of their products in the future. The now intensified cooperation sets as its goal the joint development and marketing of commercial software. This is a partnership without financial participation.
Penetration into the individual markets should be strengthened in the sales sector by the partners focusing on selected sales regions. SoftM will be responsible for sales in Germany, Austria, France, the Benelux Countries and Eastern Europe. Bison will be responsible for Switzerland, Italy and Spain among others. Both companies want to expand their market position in Europe as a whole by means of this cooperation.
