New Value's Annual Result 2015/16 (as of March 31, 2016)

Baar, June 24, 2016 -New Value characterized by stability

For New Value AG, the 2015/16 fiscal year brought with it, along with a profit,
new developments that enabled it to implement its harvesting strategy in an
environment of stability.

In the fiscal year 2015/16, various discussions were conducted regarding the
divestiture of portfolio companies, which, however, did not lead to the desired
results. This, and the performance of the portfolio companies in the fiscal year
ended, but above all an assessment of the companies' potential, moved the Board
not to push the selling activities and to place a heightened focus on optimizing
the portfolio companies' value.

The profit for the fiscal year practically corresponds to the net income from
venture capital investments and loans. Operating income (income from assignment
of a claim) was slightly above operating expenses.

The Net Asset Value (NAV) of New Value AG as per March 31, 2016 increased to CHF
8.89 million (previous year CHF 8.55 million). The NAV per share increased
accordingly from CHF 2.63 at the beginning of the period to CHF 2.71. New Value
AG recorded in total a profit of CHF 0.28 million in the financial year 2015/16
(previous year loss of CHF 0.85 million). The profit per share amounted to CHF
0.09.

With the sale of the claims against the former board members and former
auditors, it was possible to make certain that the claims can be secured and
financed over the medium to long term as well. At the same time, major liquid
funds flowed to New Value AG from this sale. New Value will also have a
substantial participation in future income from these claims.

New Value AG will publish its annual report 2015/16 with detailed information on
year-end results today. The report will only be available on the website of New
Value AG (www.newvalue.ch/index.php?id=19&L=1) and only in German.
The Annual General Shareholders Meeting will take place on August 26, 2016.
