Syndesis Appoints Respected Telecommunications Executive to Head Global Sales Organization

John Lochow, President and CEO of Syndesis, the company that brings networks to life globally, is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher L. Swan to the position of Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales. Chris comes to Syndesis from Spirent Communications (formerly Hekimian).
As head of the Syndesis global sales organization, Chris is responsible for driving business success and building on the company's current market leadership position evidenced by deployments at more than 20 major communications providers worldwide. Chris is charged with leveraging and expanding Syndesis' existing customer base, identifying and securing new business opportunities, as well as managing channel and partnership efforts.
Prior to joining Syndesis, Chris spent 15 years with Spirent Communications in increasingly responsible sales positions to become Vice President of Global Sales. In this position, Chris achieved numerous corporate sales records, received several sales innovation awards, and attained the first ever presidential award for outstanding sales leadership. Among his many successes, Chris won some of the industry's largest systems contracts to implement solutions for DSL, IP, Ethernet and Transparent LAN Services at Tier 1 North American service providers. He excelled in tailoring technology solutions with his customers that bridged the gap between legacy and next generation telecom evolution. He also closed Spirent's first surveillance management system contract, and successfully expanded sales and partnerships teams across Europe and Asia-Pacific. Previously, Chris worked in a management role at Verizon.
