The supervisory board of Betrandt Aktiengesellschaft (stock corporation) resolved today that, with effect from July 1, 2005, the management board shall no longer consist of five persons, but of two instead. The new reorganisation is intended to streamline and concentrate the management structures of the corporate group, keeping it consistently oriented toward the market and the customer. Correspondingly, consent was given to the resignations of Messrs. Peter Dorling, Ralph Jacoby and Jürgen Michels from their management board positions with effect as of the end of June 30, 2005. In order to maintain staff continuity in the operative business, in future Messrs. Jürgen Michels and Peter Dorling will assume positions of responsibility in subsidiaries or, as the case may be, Bertrandt AG. The business of the management board will be conducted by longstanding management board members Dietmar Bichler and Ulrich Subklew, who were appointed for an additional five years with effect from July 1, 2005; in addition, Dietmar Bichler will continue to hold the position of chairman of the management board.
