Frankfurt am Main, Mai 30th, 2005 - Neue Sentimental Film AG (NSF), a leading international media company for the production of advertising films, corporate and brand communication, TV formats and music videos, announces its figures for the period of the first three months 2005 today. With a turnover of TEUR 7.039 Neue Sentimental Film AG was able to increase the previous year by 17 percent.
Earnings before taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) result to TEUR -292 comparing to TEUR -99 in the first three months of the fiscal year 2004. The EBIT amounts to TEUR -392 comparing to TEUR -209 in 2004. It has to be mentioned, that every first term of a legal year represents the significant weaker half in the line of the advertising business. This is caused by the so called Christmas trade in the fourth quarter of a year, for which amplified commercial-shootings take place in the front-end. On the other hand, periods of bad weather conditions in the first half-year, which result in losses regarding the companys turnout especially in mediterranean countries (e.g. Spain and Greece), affect the Group operation. The Management Board still intends revenues amounting to EUR 34 million in the fiscal year 2005. Moreover the profitable efficiency is expected to be improved significantly comparing to the prior year; Neue Sentimental Film AG should reach an annualised positive EBIT.
Neue Sentimental Film AG´s clients in the first quarter of 2005 included for example Mercedes-Benz, Asics, Bauer, ZDF, Bank of Cyrus, MTV, DIT, Ferrero, Haribo, Campina, Milka, Lycos, Adidas, Tchibo, Beiersdorf, Bayer, ÖBB, ONE, Danone as well as Mastercard.
