Frankfurt am Main, May 30, 2007
- Neue Sentimental Film AG (ISIN: DE0005341408), a leading, international media company for the production of advertising films and TV formats, continued the positive trend set in the first quarter of 2007, right on schedule. Revenues totaled EUR 9.2 million, on a par with the previous year´s level (Q1 2006: EUR 9.6 million), which was characterized by a host of orders in Germany caused by orders being pulled forward as a result of the soccer World Cup.
It was possible to record both EBIT of EUR -0.06 million (previous year: EUR -0.05 million) and net earnings of EUR -0.12 million (previous year: EUR -0.12 million) at a practically unchanged level year-on-year as a result of the restructuring activities implemented last year. The company has thus stabilized its business substantially above the multi-year average, and has moved away from the tradition of weak first quarters - right on schedule - and is now on track for meeting its forecast.
