Frankfurt am Main, July 31, 2007 - Neue Sentimental Film AG (ISIN: DE0005341408), a leading international production company for advertising films and TV formats signed on 30th July 2007 an agreement to acquire the Düsseldorf-based production company Chased by Cowboys GmbH. The brand rights were also acquired as part of the purchase.
During the past few years, the "Chased by Cowboys" brand has generated revenues totaling EUR 8-10 million p.a. Successful spots were filmed in particular for European and Asian customers from the automotive, telecommunications and finance sectors. The acquired company processed the majority of these spots. The selling director, who is a top name among international directors, has maintained his exclusive links to the company.
This has allowed the NSF Group to reinforce its position, in particular in key industry segments and also for its creative prowess. After Chased by Cowboys has been successfully integrated into the Neue Sentimental Film Group synergies are to be substantially expanded, as well as the company's reach via a company to be newly formed in France.
