Frankfurt am Main, August 30, 2007 - Neue Sentimental Film AG (ISIN: DE0005341408), a leading, international company for the production of advertising films and TV formats, has continued the positive growth it has enjoyed since the start of 2006 in the second quarter of 2007.
Revenues were in line with forecasts at EUR 8.3 million compared to EUR 8.7 million in Q2 2006, however the second quarter of last year was also characterized by the positive extraordinary impact of the soccer World Cup. It was possible to stabilize both EBIT totaling EUR 0.026 million (previous year: EUR 0.078 million) and net earnings of EUR -0.147 million (previous year: EUR -0.108 million) at the same level as in the previous year as a result of the restructuring activities implemented last year.
Revenues in the first six months totaled EUR 17.51 million (H1 2006: EUR 18.23 million) and were also in the forecast target corridor. EBIT for the first half of the year totaled EUR -0.03 million and is also in line with expectations.
H1 earnings totaled EUR -0.27 million and are thus in line with the figure as of June 30, 2006, which totaled EUR -0.23 million.
The company has stabilized its business at a level significantly higher than the multi-year average, and believes that it is right on track to fulfill its forecasts as a result of its excellent order book for the coming months.
