Frankfurt am Main, August 26, 2008 - Neue Sentimental Film AG (ISIN: DE0005341408), a leading, international company for the production of advertising films and TV formats, consolidated the Telemaz Group, which it acquired in on April 9, 2008, for the first time in the second quarter.
Revenues in the second quarter totaled EUR 14.61 million compared to EUR 8.30 million in the second quarter of 2007. EBIT totaled EUR 0.06 million (previous year: EUR 0.03 million) is positive in line with the forecast, however it was depressed by reorganization and integration expenses, in particular for the Telemaz Group which was consolidated for the first time in the second quarter. Net earnings, totaling EUR 0.02 million (previous year: EUR -0.15 million) are significantly improved year-on-year, however they were still depressed by integration expenses.
Revenues for the first six months of 2008 increased to EUR 23.1 million, and were thus up substantially on EUR 17.5 million in first six months of 2007. EBIT in the first half of 2008 totaled EUR 0.07 million (previous year: EUR -0.03 million), and earnings for the first half of the year totaled EUR -0.16 million (previous year: EUR -0.27 million). The Managing Board is upholding its published forecast despite the economic uncertainties.
