Daniel Munter Appointed Advisor to El Pulpo Porphyry Copper Project

Ross River Minerals Inc. (TSX-V: RRM) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has appointed Daniel Munter as advisor to the Company with respect to its El Pulpo porphyry copper project located in Sinaloa State, Mexico. Mr. Munter has over thirty years of experience in the mining industry. Specializing in porphyry copper/gold/molybdenum and associated skarn systems, Mr. Munter has worked in advanced as well as greenfield exploration and has experience in both open pit and underground operations.
Mr. Munter has worked for BHP Billiton Ltd., Getty Mining Company and Hecla Mining Company and was until late 2002 chief geologist at the Ok Tedi Mine in Papua, New Guinea. Ok Tedi, owned by a consortium and then managed by BHP Billiton Ltd., is a porphyry copper/gold deposit producing 200,000+/- tonnes of copper and 450,000 ounces gold annually. During his seven years at Ok Tedi, he was seconded to the Escondida Mine in Chile to review and evaluate geologic modeling procedures.
The Company is very pleased to have Mr. Munter assist with the exploration of the Cerro Colorado, La Langosta, La Cetolla and Jocquistes porphyry copper targets identified on its 200 square kilometre El Pulpo property.
