El Pulpo Drilling Update

Ross River Minerals Inc. (TSX-V: RRM) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has completed to date five drill holes of a planned first phase ten hole program for a total of 1,464 metres of drilling on its Cerro Colorado porphyry copper target. The Cerro Colorado target is one of five copper targets situated within a central copper zone of forty square kilometres on the El Pulpo property. The El Pulpo property is over 200 square kilometres in area and is located in Sinaloa State, Mexico.
The Company is encouraged by the alteration and mineralisation encountered in the core to date. The entire core from the first four holes has been sampled and shipped for assay. Results will be announced when available.
Kennecott Exploration continues to provide technical assistance with regard to the drill program and the ongoing exploration of the El Pulpo property (see press release dated October 6, 2005).
