Exploration Resumes on El Pulpo

Ross River Minerals Inc. (TSX-V: RRM) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has resumed exploration on its 20,231 hectare El Pulpo gold-silver-copper property located in Sinaloa State, Mexico. The Company will initially focus on the newly discovered Jutamo copper-gold porphyry prospect (see press release dated July 7, 2006) and the north-trending Papaya gold-silver vein system. The Company has identified three major gold- silver targets on the Papaya vein system which has veins of up to 15 metres wide at surface. The system is approximately 8,000 metres in length and up to 1,500 metres in width.
The fall exploration program will include further mapping and sampling of the southern extension of the Papaya gold-silver target to the west and south of the village of Vado Hondo where a large chargeability anomaly (7 - 18 mV/V) occurs. In addition, the Company will conduct further mapping and sampling of the Jutamo copper-gold prospect.
