WISeKey signs a framework agreement at the Microsoft Global Leaders Forum with Veliba SPE to deploy its secure e-ID services to over 400 million potential Spanish-speaking users worldwide

WISeKey, the world's most trusted e-security
infrastructure and leading provider of Internet trust services, today
has signed an agreement with Veliba SPE, a leading Spanish company
based in Bilbao, dedicated to the creation of businesses that are
facing the challenges of the new millennium, for the establishment of
WISeKey ELA (Spain and Latin America).

Pedro Luis Velasco Ibánez, President of Veliba SPE, stated "Our
group is proud to join WISeKey in the establishment of a
revolutionary infrastructure for the issuance and management of
secure digital identity infrastructures for Spain and Latin America
as a means of dealing with the security and privacy challenges faced
by individuals as well as the public and private sectors. These are
difficult but key challenges for the future development of business,
government and social interactions worldwide."

Carlos Moreira, President of WISeKey, declared "Our vision for the
future is to enable individuals, organizations and governments to
massively leverage the functionalities of secure electronic
identities through low-cost, interoperable, easy-to-use, trustworthy,
and multipurpose electronic identities and eID infrastructures. We
