WISeKey Welcomes Top Executive Gary Shainberg from BT as Chief Digital & Innovation Officer

WISeKey announces the arrival of Gary Shainberg in the newly established role of Chief Digital & Innovation Officer to lead the eSecurity company into new global markets.
Gary Shainberg joins WISeKey after serving as Vice President, Global Technology & Innovation Support at BT. Since 1997, Gary was involved in the design, development, and sale of many of BT's IP-based services.
Gary is passionate about the future of technology and applied innovation. He has spoken at many events around the world and is quoted extensively in Start-up Nation: The Story of Israel's Economic Miracle. In 2006, Gary was appointed to the Israel Britain Business Council to promote trade between the two countries. Previous to BT, Gary ran one of the UK's earliest ISPs, his own business, and provided 17 years of successful service to the Royal Navy as Aircrew and SAR Diver.
Gary will lead WISeKey's innovation of services in existing markets, and use his experience to develop new opportunities in the Service Provider and Telco sectors.
According to Shainberg: "After 14 years in BT, 17 years in the Royal Navy, I look forward to using my experience and tenacity to help WISeKey become the premier global eSecurity company."
