Nissan Europe December Sales

Nissan Europe reported total sales of 32,552 vehicles (1) in December 2005, a decrease of 28.5% over the same month last year.
In calendar year 2005, Nissan Europe sold 540,945 units, 0.1% down from last year.
HIGHLIGHTS BY COUNTRY
- Nissan in France sold 3,661 units in December, registering a 34.9% decrease compared to last year. In calendar year 2005, Nissan sold 48,388 units in France, down by 2.9% compared to last year.
- In Germany, Nissan sold 2,944 units in December, representing a decrease of 44.9% compared to last year. In calendar year 2005, Nissan sold 53,050 units in Germany, 11.7% down from last year.
- In Italy, Nissan sold 2,578 units in December, down 29.6% against last year. In calendar year 2005, Nissan sold 54,002 units in Italy, down by 23.3% compared to last year.
- In Russia, Nissan sold 4,949 units in December, up 15.5% against last year. In calendar year 2005, Nissan sales in Russia rose to 46,485 units, up by 63.5% compared to last year.
- Nissan in Spain sold 5,411 units in December, down 31.7% compared to last year. In calendar year 2005, Nissan sales in Spain rose to 70,796 units up by 1.5% compared to last year.
- In the UK, Nissan sold 3,335 units a decrease of 43.6% compared to last year. In calendar year 2005, Nissan's sales in the UK reached 102,048 units, down 2.1% compared to last year.
MODEL HIGHLIGHTS
- The Micra sold 6,239 units in December representing a decrease of 51.1% against the same month last year. In calendar year 2005, total Micra sales reached 155,352 units, down 8% compared to last year.
- X-TRAIL sales decreased by 37% in December against the same month last year to 3,633 units. In calendar year 2005, total X-TRAIL sales reached 62,832 units, down by 0.4% compared to last year.
- Murano sold 687 units in December. In calendar year 2005, total Murano sales reached 8,963 units. Sales objective exceeded by 50%
- Pathfinder sold 2,236 units in December. Since its launch in March, Pathfinder sales reached 20,526 units.
- Navara sold 4,204 units in December. Since its launch in July, total Navara sales reached 16,999 units. Navara is the best selling pick up in its segment.
