Nissan Europe Reports October Sales

Nissan Europe reported total sales of 41,064 vehicles (1) in October 2006, an increase of 41.4% over the same month last year. Year to date Nissan sold 447,769 vehicles in Europe, a decrease of 5.6% compared to the same period last year.
Highlights by Country
- Nissan in France sold 3,389 units in October, registering a 20.1% increase compared to last year. Year to date Nissan sold 37,751 units in France, down 10% compared to the same period last year.
- In Germany, Nissan sold 4,045 units in October, representing an increase of 77.1% compared to last year. Year to date Nissan sold 46,783 units in Germany, up 0.8% compared to the same period last year.
- In Italy, Nissan sold 3,783 units in October, up 57.9% compared to last year. Year to date Nissan sold 43,016 units in Italy, down 11.3% compared to the same period last year.
- Nissan in Spain sold 4,841 units in October, up 14.6% compared to last year. Year to date Nissan sold 51,354 units in Spain, down 14.7% compared to the same period last year.
- In the UK, Nissan sold 4,638 units in October, a decrease of 6.1% compared to last year. Year to date Nissan sold 77,754 units in the UK, down 16.4% compared to the same period last year.
- In Russia, Nissan sold 8,911 units, an increase of 121.1% compared to last year. Year to date Nissan sold 59,462 units in Russia, up 61% compared to the same period last year.
Model Highlights
- The Micra sold a total of 7,592 units in October representing an increase of 16.2% against the same month last year. Year to date total Micra sales reached 101,708 units, down 27.9% compared to the same period last year.
- The Micra C+C sold a total of 656 units in October. Year to date, Micra C+C sales reached 14,303 units.
- NOTE sold a total of 8,347 units in October. Year to date, NOTE sales reached 66,332 units.
- X-TRAIL sold 3,765 units in October, down 0.5% against the same month last year. Year to date total X-TRAIL sales reached 44,268 units, down 19.2% compared to the same period last year.
- Murano sold 606 units in October, up 21.2% compared to last year. Year to date total Murano sales reached 7,025 units, down 8.1% compared to the same period last year.
- Pathfinder sold 1,901 units in October, up 28.6% compared to last year. Year to date total Pathfinder sales reached 21,016 units, up 27.1% compared to the same period last year.
- Navara sold 4,030 units in October. Year to date total Navara sales reached 40,202 units.
